I've actually used Testors model paint applied with a small brush, but your flat black idea might work a bit better.

Thanks, I'll give the paint a shot... I know you definitely have faith in the powder coat, but I think ultimately it might get truck bed liner applied to the upwards facing areas. I had deep gouges in the plastic cap from things like aluminum ramps and long ladders testing on it and sometimes sliding.

Something that I've been enjoying is the solid "thunk" that I get out of closing it now. It definitely gives a feeling of reassurance knowing it's not going to just bend one day.

I would only be able to offer a small discount on an unfinished one.

I cringe every time I see that picture.

Just to reiterate, that is NOT the level of powder coating that I'm supplying now.

    Hi Chad:

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the side rail cap system but wanted to confirm long vs. short dimensions before ordering from your website.

The 72.5" is the long correct?

I will post some pictures soon of the tailgate cap and the KB Voodoo sticker I received with it. It actually took longer to decide where the sticker goes vs the time it took to install the tailgate cap.

There are only two stickers on my truck and you my friend made the cut, one suggestion though would be to put the website address on the sticker somewhere.

I read somewhere in a previous post you redesigned the piece for a smaller gap. Are the new pieces ready to go. I would like to buy one? Thanks.
