    That's what I figured haha

The DRZ's I've ridden with leave me pretty quickly.

You short shift or just not give it enough throttle? Sometimes i short shift to set it down because i forget to cover the rear brake

I had enough throttle, i was trying to shift up during so i could keep it going. Im getting good at the brake, just need to practice that more.

You in second going to third or third going to fourth?

I pretty much only do it in second. It won't come up in third unless i'm going off a jump or cresting a sharp hill and smack it wide open at the top.

I dig it. Worst comes to worst, i remove it. Ya know? Lol

    Thank you for the pictures.

    Update on the bike:
    3506miles
Grips are no longer coming apart in chunks, but will likely continue to do so before too long.
Time for another oil change, considering switching to Rotella t6 synthetic 5w-40. It'll give me better hot lubrication and will yield me two oil changes for the cost of one.
Was trail riding yesterday and had a large stick come up and bend the ever living fuck out of my fuel petcock. Now i'm switching to a raptor petcock. As much as i'll fucking despise having to turn the fuel on and off every. single. fucking. time. I'm sure it'll be more reliable than my bent factory vacuum style that is likely more prone to failure now that its been doinked.
Also going to go ahead and grab my jet kit/air filter while i'm at it then all i need is the exhaust. I guess you could say shit is getting real.

    Got my brake lines.
Going to need a new tire soon.
Might just let my shop install the brake lines when they do the rear tire....or i'll just pull the rear wheel and have the new tire slapped on in an hour or two....

Still considering metallic gold rim tape.....the gold brake lines are going to look sooooo good.

Why do you already need a new tire?
