    ...Well, Yeah...and there in lies my confusion?....cos lots of chrome on a Sport-Package makes sense and looks right!

    ...But on the Off-Road Package....it really seems rather odd and out of place?........Almost like Toyota got the grills mixed up on the 2 models?....:confused:

    I got the TRD Sport LB and hate Chrome. The color matched pieces give me more Mall crawler rep.

    2009 4WD Reg cab Taco. Keepin it simple.
    So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
    Finally just looked at the thread. Didn't bother reading all the posts, sorry. I have to say I don't care for the front of the 2016. I like the first gens better but I came late to the party and have a 2nd gen. 2nd gen better than that 2016.

    I for one think the exterior looks awesome... that color matched interior and console though, ffuuuuuuck no. Ugly. Thats what you'll look at the most and tbh i think it looks terrible. Would be the deal breaker for me.

    I'd submit,
    Many/most who buy a Tacoma strictly for truck duty/utility vehicle...buy the SR5.

    And also, most Tacoma buyers don't even care if they have chrome vs. paint bumpers/grill/mirrors, etc.
    Most don't care. They see a truck they like and buy it.
