Yes, that's what I would go with personally. If you prefer to have the tire/wheel flush with the fenders flares on a 1st gen then stick with 4.5" bs.

No definitely don't want to fit flush with the flairs, I already am running 1.25" spacers to kick my original wheels out as it is and I am looking to go wider/taller in the near future.

Vin, next week ill finally be ordering my new rims. Think I like the look of the SCS F-5s the best.
Want to double check that the 16x8 with the -25mm offset and 3.50" BS will clear the control arms and spindles when running Cooper Discovery STT PRO 305/70r16 (33x12.3)

    Thanks!

A 3.5 BS should have you well clear of anything. This is from first gen experience but first or second gen a 3.5" BS is far from what a stock rim was. On one of my tacos I run that same size rim but 15" and 33 12.5 and the BS makes it to where you can see half or more of the brake caliper. So it'll push that wheel out quite a bit. I'm sure youll have no problems with spindle/control arm stuff.

Jeff, matte dark bronze in 3.5" bs is currently out of stock. Thanks Robert! The 17" F5 does have 4.30" bs and will provide a slightly less aggressive stance compared to the 16x8 3.5" bs.

Yes, it will clear the spindle and UCA just fine. Just be prepared to cut and trim as needed especially in the cab mount area. You'll get a mean and aggressive stance with this backspacing and tire size.

This is a Longshot, but does anyone know the part number of correct term for the front wheel hub dust cover for a 1st gen? Haven't been able to find them yet, it's the only thing holding me up from painting my wheel hubs

Yes, the 17s are available now, but we haven't had a chance to do a proper photo shoot on them.

You might want to call up the parts department at Toyota.
