I'd think that the sensor would be on the steering shaft itself not the wheel. Good to hear you got it all put back together

Well by good enough I mean, the front end doesn't howl like a bastard anymore. Here's the print out. And I'm going to put a few more cranks on the c/o's so it will variate from these.

I also got a quote for some 285/70/17 mastercraft mxt's. $1400. Ouch. I've seen them on eBay,$999 - $1100 for a set with free shipping.

The only time I go to Schwabs is when my buddy is working, it makes it a pain in the ass since he transferred to Wenatchee

Yeah the north bend guys know me pretty well since the last two company's I've worked for give them a lot of business. Wenatchee is a long way to go just to get a deal from Seth...

LOL, he's still the only one I trust. I'll be heading over there once I need new tires. Truth be told I kinda want to get rid of these Toyo AT's ASAP and get some skinnier MT's on.

I use a tie down to center the wheel. One hook on the bottom of the wheel, one hook on a seat mount. Then use a mason line (or highly calibrated eyeballs) to line up the sidewalls front to rear using the tie rod to adjust. I can eyeball it to within a degree or two. It helps to sit and make your eyes even with the center line of the tires. Also a good idea to jack it up and get the front tires in the air, then let it down fast to settle the suspension. For camber, I use a piece of angle iron that sits on the inside lip of the rims and a level. Center the bubble and it's good. I also max out the camber (mostly to clear 37's at full stuff, but it also rakes out the front end like a dirt bike and improves high speed handling in the dirt). The idea here is to push the lower control arms as far away from the firewall as possible. Once you do it a few times, you will never pay for an alignment again.

For tires, Coopers are the best kept secret in the dirt. Made in America, excellent performance at a reasonable price-- http://www.treaddepot.com/group/dstmx.html

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I have a couple Chinese snorkels on the way from China to test fit.

HiLux 167 Series (same style Cruiser outfitters uses). Almost positive this one will work

HiLux 25 Series (newer style similar to the 2nd Gen Taco). My only concern is the antenna mast on the Taco might be in the way.

I will do some test fitting and share my results with TW. If either of these work, I have a pretty good relationship with the manufacturer now, so I might be able to get them cheap or setup a group buy at some point.

So.... fixed my shifter debacle today. Welded that sob together solid. Toyota should have done that from the start. With my URD SS and the shaft as one piece, my shifts have never been so short and crisp. Anyone with a 6spd should just make a one piece and get a SS kit, so happy all I want to do is rally gears lol.

Bendizzle, I'm excited to hear how things go with the snorkel. I've really wanted one for the last year but the 400+ cost is hard to swallow for some damn ducting lol

Mmm speaking of snorkels I just attached mine to the A piller last night! :woot: finally sturdy! I was only holding it with 3 of the 5 bolts because one broke of just barely pushing it onto the truck and the other one was just ridiculously impossible to reach. It's kinda meh for the price. The template is garbage but I like the way it looks over ARB and Hilux.
