    I made it . it has a jl w3 slim 10" and reg. jl w3 8". there sealed to jl specs and i found the part number #58510-04870-B2 its 400 bucks for the flooring and ebay has one without the holes for 250 but not toyota probably not as nice .

    I bought the carpet on ebay , plywood from depot i used 3/4 birch instead of mdf in time the mdf always swells up and is to heavy i was trying to keep it light ., it was like 100 bucks total plus speakers . and you have all that space left for other things. buy the grills and you can put stuff on top of them and they still play. As from the seat covers the biggest towel at walmart plus you can wash them i have a two sets to change out from time to time.

    I just like the level platform,

    The other option is find a set of the fold down platforms that Tacomas had in maybe 05-06 I think...
    Maybe... I haven't found a way to compare the mounting locations from one to another but you would think they were the same.

    Best option would be one like yours. I don't need speaker so I could have four storage doors in it.

    I appreciate the idea of the lighter weight materials also.

    that is the side the 8" speaker is on it doesnt need as much space as the 10" speaker so it just a gap space.
