Trading a perfect seat covered no dings no rock chips 2015 2WD Sport DCSB w/2000 miles for a new 2016 2WD DCSB OR..

What do you think the difference in price will be? Not including tax ( sales tax is capped at $300 here)

Assuming 4 Cyl, no extras such as tow package... $5,700 difference

 

Has to be the same exact truck 6 cyl With tow package (ALL Southeast Toyota Tacoma TRDs and SR5s come with tow package and $299 Mats on the Monroney Sticker)

Hint..I traded a 14 with 19K miles for the same exact 15 for $5000 out of pocket.

I bought the 14 used, it had some tailgate damage no manuals one set of keys, So I brought it back and traded it for the SAME exact 15 for $5000 cash Now I like the 16 and am considering a trade for the Off Road 2WD. Depending on the difference,

Actually I need to start with what my 15 is worth. IF the 16s increase in price $3000 so will the trades rise a tad. The spread should be the same between a 15 and 16. If the 16 will cost $34K MSRP my 15 will have a value somewhere under that someone would pay which depends on how many 15 leftovers there are. Toyota has never offered big rebates on left over is which is why the Tacoma and a few other Toyotas hold their values well. I am not sure how much more I would pay....I will have to see the 16s first and be wowed by them.

I am just curious. I like the 15 well enough to keep it but in retrospect I should have bought the OR with the rear locker.

I cannot see paying $35K for a 2WD Tacoma......HMmmmmm Unless they give me $30K for mine which won't happen (unless they over allow and discount the 16 which again is not likely so early in the run even though I bought two Tacomas from them in a year LOL)

My prediction is that you will have to work hard to find the new one for 33,000 and you would be offered 26,000 for your trade assuming 10k or less miles on your trade and this happens within 3 months from tonight.

$30500 OTD My 15 will have 2k miles I won't spend over $5000 for a 16. Actually it was $5000 Plus my 14 with 19K so the numbers moved around...

 

With 2k miles I could see it happening for $5500-6000 if you're persistent. If you bit the $5000 bullet going from 14 to 15, what's an extra grand or two to upgrade to the new gen that everyone is talking about?

 

Not much depending on what the 16 has mine does not...Especially in the tech arena

And are you asking what they are going to charge you between the two prices or what you are going to pay OTD?

 

Taxes are $300 So I am looking at Cash OTD switching trucks Everything the same except Off Road instead of Sport. I expect to pay $5000 but I will upgrade the tech..
