Thats awesome, Fernando, congratulations. Those photos don't do 'the pyramid' justice. Mostly buggies on 35's or bigger climb that thing.

Lmao... Derp.. I put a rag on the end of the hose but not the regulator thing and a bunch of gas squirted out of the regulator hahaha.. Oops.. The pump definitely had some pressure.. Wasn't just a dribble, it was a squirt.

    Now to the compression.

Haha im hoping that's what ends up happening.. We shall see.

Sweet thanks, although I bet I could get more $ for the reman'd engine not installed + part out what I don't need from old truck.

I really don't think it's a good idea to keep my current truck, seems like it's sort of a lemon.. Haha.

No, your fuel filter is right under the intake manifold on the 4cyl right? Crack a banjo bolt loose and crank it

So are you going to do a leak down now to see if it's the valves or rings. Or do you know for sure its the rings. I also had a misfire. I ended having a cracked head on #3. I just got a new head and swapped it.

Nah, going to try to have autozone warranty it since its less than a year old by about a month and a couple days. Hopefully will be able to snag a v6 4x4 in the meantime.

Yep filter is under intake manifold, my girl cranked it for like 5 seconds, shit was sprayin everywhere. I just disconnected the hose from the regulator @ the fuel rail, seemed like it was pressurized to me :notsure:

Non interference motor is in reference to valve contact with the piston as it travels through TDC even when valve timing is out of phase. I'm talking about something completely different, piston contact with the cylinder head. This condition occurs when the rod bearing wears/is damaged enough to allow piston to head contact. Toyota uses a very tight clearance in the squish area so and bearing failure can cause contact, carbon deposits make it worse. This is the most common engine noise heard when a failure occurs on the most modern engines, I rarely get to show my apprentices "lower end knock" anymore. No engine should ever be interference piston to head.

As a general rule with Toyota, if it has a chain or VVTi it has a risk of interference. Belt is typically not interference (dat 2uz is though)

I decided against the China snorkel. While a snorkel helps me earn my Expo As Feck sticker, it will only be better earned with a real Safari Snorkel. I have one on order, it will be here in 2 weeks. I could get it sooner but I'm cheap and don't want to pay shipping. I'm going to take some side by side pics, the china one has a really bad restriction/design just at the fender. If it wasn't for that it would work great. I need to finalize my bed rack after that, then it is sticker time. Unless @CoTacoTRD says I need a rotopax.......... shit

My dad finished installing two ham radios today. I installed headrack for three antennas. And wired up my locker.
