Exactly, it's not like he's an indentured servant. His contract is for two years, this is the second year, he might decide he wants to race boats in a gorilla suit again. He can also come to Indycar. That would be freaking awesome.

No, his deal was for 2 years and an optional 3rd. He started driving for them again in 2014. This is his second year (2015) They have an option, but since his contract is technically up at the end of this year, one would assume (especially with Kimi) that he also has the ability to opt out should he so choose. I cannot imagine Ferrari optioning him a 3rd year and he saying no, but I guarantee he has it.

Ah, ok. True, if Ferrari doesn't want him, he won't be there, but he almost certainly has the ability to walk away if he wants. Won't happen, but he might just decide he doesn't want to be there too. I'm not certain anything is a foregone conclusion with that guy.

Oh, I know what he has said publicly. But I doubt he wants to go through another season with Arrivabene baiting him in public and underwhelming results. I'm pretty sure that if he felt he had to go through another year like this, he would bail. He doesn't really give a shit about anything but racing and hates most of the F1 spectacle anyway. He would be awesome in a more under the radar series, it's not like he needs the money.
