So it's been awhile since I've been on nice to see some trucks coming together I picked up a new offroad toy a 1992 dodge dakota for $50. It had problems staying running so we went through a bunch of testing and found out our computer was partially unplugged so we got an awsome deal. This truck is going to be strictly for offroad so no more worries about destroying my daily driver

Maybe you and your friends should just not go outside for the rest of the summer. That's horrible!

Buy a new wiring kit from the stereo manufacturer (if needed) and one from metra or similar to plug into Toyota connections

    Hey Guys,
Life long Alaskan thats new to this site.
I picked up a 2015 DCSB OR back in June and I've been having a great time beating the hell out of it since. This is my first Toyota since high school when I had a '94 pickup and it's great to be back in one.
Browsing around this site has started that mod itch that I'll need to scratch, but I'm curious what you guys are doing to ship stuff up to Anchorage.
I've been looking at armor from Pelfreybilt or CBI and their shipping prices almost match the cost of the products themselves. Shipping for lifts with leaf springs is no joke either.
Do you guys source through a local supplier? Recommendations for a freight forwarder? Are you just biting the bullet and shelling out that extra cash?
    What're your secrets?

Talk to Ben Bacher at green tree fabrication here in Anchorage. They can get everything you need shipped up on pallets when they build them. My shipping costs for a complete new suspension ran me $70
