I have the trd charger also. I hear a sound of marbles knocking into a can, or being slightly shaken around also. It is a normal sound of the supercharger rotors. I notice it when lugging, mine is also a automagic. But also notice is a lot when cranking the engine or turning it off. fwiw i always run 93 octane.

Could have something to do with the octane. I'm still running on the dealer's dime. Meaning I haven't filled up since I brought it home. Dealers being dealers, they probably put e85 in there from the cheapest station in town. I'll be putting some 93 in there tomorrow at some point. Hopefully that'll not only get rid of the rattle, but give me a little more mpgs as well. It's looking like I'm going to avg 15 on this tank.

Ktmkris, I've noticed that if I wait a few seconds between turning the truck to acc and actually cranking it, it lessens the marble deal on start up.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Check the heat shield mounted to the floor above the cat is tight; maybe a piece of "Quik steel" putty shoved around the bolt to stop it from rattling may help, if that's the problem. [IMG]

Turdsport I will try that out. I agree the dealership will put the cheapest thing in there. I purchased my wife a diesel jeep Grand cherokee. The guy who put fuel in new purchases pumped 4 gallons of unleaded in it before he realized what he had done. They filled the jeep up with diesel and 2 stroke oil and Guaranteed there would be no issues. We drove it 80,000 miles and punted it. That being said, if your truck requires 93 octane, it doesnt matter to dealer they just buy the cheapest, and usually have new hires fueling and oiling them anyways. Scary if you think about it.

Cool, I'll look into that too. Thanks!

You would think so justus, there's a sticker on the backside of the fuel lid that says 93 octane only. But i digress...

Ironic if they did that since the dipshits were supposed to install 1 or 2 of the "premium fuel only" decals...................u think something woulda clicked.

dont bother with any octane boosters tho, they only raise the octane by .01 I believe
