Got exactly what I wanted and lucked out since it was the best price and the closest to my house. Could not have worked out better.

I did have choices after the DCLB BRM Sport and would have gone with super white instead. Anything after that would have been settling for me. Didn't think it made sense to settle considering it was my first new truck and my first new vehicle in over 10 years.

I had 3 choices in color when I walked onto the lot. In order, mgm, white, black. There were no mgm's on the lot and the wife hated white (weirdo) so I went with black. I'm happy overall though

Color I wanted and options that I wanted and no extras. I found that the extra crap can add up in a hurry on these trucks. I specified minimum port and dealer add ons on my 2009 too. One exception is I did not want the graphics. I was willing to go to KC to get a truck without the graphics but non had factory tow pkg. which was a deal killer. I was going to take the graphics off but left them for resale. New owner will have a choice.

My '09 AC was Pyrite Mica and I loved the color. With my '14 it was a toss up between Magnetic Grey and Pyrite, I chose the Pyrite again because I wanted an auto and the MGM they had was a 6 speed. If I would have waited a bit I could have gotten a Spruce Mica. Sometimes I regret not waiting, but overall I am satisfied.

I wanted MGM, but White was my second choice and I took it.

I almost settled for a blue ribbon dcsb Trd sport. My wife and I moved to the Midwest and we were visiting a friend in Chicago. I was on the hunt for a dclb Trd sport at first, but those are hard to come by. Also, they're a pain to park (I've driven my brothers's).

We drove out about an hour to this dealer and I test drove it. I liked how it drove, but I didn't want another blue vehicle, having had two blue sport bikes and my wife's elantra is blue as well. They didn't want to come down on the price, so I left after an hour of negotiating.

The following week back in St Louis, I went to one of the dealers here to see what they had. They tried to sell me the dclb pyrite mica, but I dislike that color. The sales guy checked incoming inventory and found that they were getting the truck I wanted in a week. I got my dcsb,Trd sport MGM.

Even a year later, I get a little giddy when I walk up to it.

Got the color and options (or lack of dealer add on's) that I wanted....at the price I wasn't going to settle for something else....turned down a black one and waited....took 6 months but was worth the wait.

Grabbed an end-of-year model 2007 Toyota Tacoma V6 4x4 Off-Road Access Cab in Radiant Red and never looked back. It was the only 2007 Tacoma left on the lot at the time and I got a really good deal on it.

I was fine with white, MGM, or silver. Really liked the blue ribbon, but I likely couldn't keep it or black clean. Wanting the DCLB is what sealed the deal for me - they had almost exactly the truck I wanted in super white, so white it was. It was the only long bed on the lot out of over 40 other new Tacomas. Interestingly enough, dealer had almost every other color in short beds, both Prerunners and 4x4s.

I bought mine used and I wanted an Off Road in good condition above all else. When I found mine it had the upgraded stereo and the price was right, but it was white. The wife said it looked like a "contractors work truck" and was generally grumpy about the color. I've never owed a white car before, but we've grown to love it. Cool in the summer and doesn't show the salt so much in the winter. I've bought a couple of new cars in the past and got the exact color I wanted, and I've bought a couple of used cars and got what ever color they were. And, I've learned dark colors suck if you hate washing cars (like me), reds fade, golds and silvers are pretty easy to maintain and white is best of all.

Went in wanting black or white. My last taco was blacked out so I was open to either. Huge fan of the storm trooper look. Dealer at the time had a sr5 in white and a TRD in black. I went with black after I saw the numbers they threw at me. Didn't hurt that I told the sales guy I could careless if I got the truck or not bc I already had a taco. :burnrubber:

Looked online and found that the dealer had what I wanted, went and got it. 2015 DCSB 4x4 TRD OR. Looking back, I wish I had gone with a Sport vs the OffRoad (because I despise Chrome). I plan on swapping the rear bumper anyways, but it all costs money! Though I will need to also replace the front grill surround.
