quite a bit heavier yes. The 199 kit felt like stock and really bummed me out.

Thankfully all I needed was new calipers and pads, the lines and rotors are the same size.

most 16s wont even work with the 231 kit.. the 199 were fine and had a lot more clearance.

the 231mm were used for the heavier Tundra double cab that usually came with 17" wheels. 16" still fit but as elmo said minimal clearance.

the 199 were standard due to the v8.

also the stock TRD wheels are 16x7 (not sure where 16x8 came from)

and here ya go, with stock tires you will have no issues. 265/70-17 will rub at full lock but will fit (same as 265/75-16) depending on tire manufac/model:

So I'm looking at buying these (or this type of wheel)https://houston.craigslist.org/pts/5132263184.html these look about like those but they say they are 17 inch wheels. I plan to only put a 31 or 32 inch tire on the rims nothing huge

Stock pull off wheels should never fetch new wheel prices.. ever.. I couldn't give mine away.. offer $200 at the most. even that is overpaying.

go to the Buy/Sell/Trade under wheels and tires. lots of things come up in Texas.

and yes those wheels I had were the 17". same size and dimensions as the FJ ones you linked.
