How much did you pay for 2015 Tacoma

New Member and, obviously, first time poster. I'm moving to California and I'm dead-set on a 2015 Tacoma Double or Access 4x4 6-Speed with the TRD Offroad Pack. I've found threads asking this question of the early 2015, but I'm wondering how much people are paying for the 2015 model now that Toyota has announced the considerable redesign of the 2016 Taco, which should be hitting the floor in October.

A part of me wants to wait for the efficiency and horse power of 3.5 direct inject, but I love the look, low end torque and reliability of the 2nd Gen 4.0, not to mention that it isn't quite as "tarted up" as the 2016.

I intend to put my Tacoma in the dirt with camping, trails and shore diving, so I'm also wondering what Taco owners (specifically California owners) have found the need for (bumpers, lifts, etc) to get to and out of the less accessible locations.

I invested in domestic trucks at a young age, which led me into a world of V8 swaps, live axle conversions and constant maintenance. Through watching friends and traveling the world I've seen the incredible reliability and capability of the Tacoma/Hilux (when can we get a diesel in the states... they sell it sooooo close???). So, I'm eager to get to know what I don't know about this incredible vehicle from those who have put it to the test.

DCSB TRD SPORT4x4 mgm 33000 out the door. I just got it this past Thursday 8-13-15, I drove a black 1996 4x4 access cab for 18 years

 

I gotta hell of a deal 2015 dcsb 4x4 sr5 6mt 26000 before tax and title this was aprox three weeks ago truck stickered at 31500

 

2015 TRD Sport DCSB 4x4, JBL audio, tow. MSRP $35,300 got it for $30,061 a month ago.

 

Price going up I know mine is not a 2015 or 4x4
I did put a 2015 HU also paid 24,800 new TRD OR in Oct 2012

 

That was a steal. I'd jump on that deal any minute. Where do you located?

 

Canadian here. I paid $42000 + 12% sales tax Canadian.
Thats like what.. 47000? In Canadian dollars of course.

Good heavens... I should sell mine just to go buy one from whatever dealer you bought yours from.

 

Yeah it was crazy just went to take my prerunner to get serviced, they asked me what it would take to buy a new 4x4 and I told them it would need to be a crazy good deal. The sales woman said what's a crazy good deal. I told her 26k she said no way than came back 10 min later and said they would do it. I handed her my keys and told them service should be done in an hour.

Was it 5 in the afternoon on the last day of the month?

 

It was like 1100 am on July 21st a tuesday. I think the reason I got such a good deal was its a 6mt. The only one out of about 12 tacomas.
