Hey guys (and gals), I just moved to the Bay Area not to long ago and I am looking for a fair, well priced, and honest offroad shop. I like to try and do some of the work myself, but my tools are a little limited. I would prefer not to drive more than and hour, but definately not more than 2 hours max at the most from Oakland.

Does anyone have any suggestions other than the obious ones (i.e. 4 wheel parts, etc.)

I have been using Custom Trucks in Redwood City for some minor additions. No issues so far, but the most complex thing they have done is my OME upgrade. So far they are installing my bumpers when they are done. But they said they can't do my ss breaklines, so I am also interested in a bay area offroad shop.

I think Budman had lockers installed by Schaffer Off Road in Alameda...that's just down the road from you too.

Nick, thanks for the info. I took a look on yelp and it has great reviews (also saw your Taco on there). I think I will be taking my truck here.

Cliff at Diablo did my rear AAL and Icons along with getting my Wheels/Tires on there then using a nearby shop for alignment. I dropped by on Sunday in a bit of a jam and he got started that day, awesome job overall and no problems 4 mo's later. He does lean towards 4x4 stuff.

Just looking to go finish up my mid travel. I have the Icon Stage 5 set up, but thats it. Was gunna buy the parts (LCA's, prob some bump stops, and limit straps if needed to stop binding). That would be about it for now...but we all know how that story goes.

I second Swat. They were straight up and did good work. I had suspension and air bags installed.
