I've been reading TW threads for a little over a year now, not sure why I didn't make an account until now. Thanks for being such a great community and I'm glad to be a part of it!

Great looking truck! I vote toolbox because I know I wouldn't go anywhere without all the stuff I have in mine. Lockable storage that is great space for all of your recovery and wheeling needs. I also keep all of the tools and equipment i'd need for most repairs on the road in there and a couple jackets for the middle of winter...Besides which it really doesn't take up that much space.

Nice truck. I like the wheels ;)
I currently run a UWS lowpro and wouldn't want any other one. Works like a champ.

Swank, do you have a picture if it from the side? And how much space does it have? I'm needing to be able to have enough space to put my full gear in it and still have room.

I keep my turnout gear in there, plus some tow straps, a old style toolbox, and a bunch of other odds and ends. It's pretty tight with all of that.. mainly the bulky ass turnout gear.
if i took the tray out of the box I could fit a good bit more, but it's pretty handy so I left it in. Keep spray paint/bolts/gloves and shit in it. Easy to get to from the side of the truck.

That's great. Do you know a model number or something I could search for to find it? I'd love to not carry my turnouts in my passenger compartment.

It's just bolted direct through the top of the bed frame. If you pull the fender liner you can stick some monster bolts through the toolbox. It's not an easy reach but is a pretty simple installation and that thing will not move...As for dimensions I'll have to get them when I get home...Or see if I can find a link.

It's a betterbuilt tool box and my only complaint is the seals around the lip let dust in...If you hit a bunch of dirt I would find one with better seals...It was pretty cheap when I bought it though

That's a nice truck  and thanks for the pic. I think I'm going to go check tractor supply and see if they carry it or anything close. By the way what headlights do you have and are your taillights aftermarket?

yeah, i'd check with them or Lowe's. And the headlights are D2S retros, and Depo taillights off ebay.

I'm thinking I'm going to try and get a toolbox and some black headlights/taillights. Any recommendations for the lights, price low quality high, would be appreciated.

That might make the install a little easier if you plan on going that route. Honestly I just smeared some loc-tite on there and went to town. I can post up some pics from under the truck when I get home this afternoon if you'd like. I know there are several people that swear by mounting them with the built in rails as well. It's just whatever you are comfortable with. I knew the toolbox was a must for me so I had no issues drilling holes in the bed.
