Its not quite end of summer yet, but we've finally gotten ahead of production for the first time this year and what better way to celebrate than by a forum group buy!

Knowing that every group buy we've hosted on here has made significantly more than our required quota of orders, this time we are going to skip the wait/list and let the orders start rolling in under one condition....Post a reply to this thread with what you are ordering, that will help keep the thread active

Currently we have almost every option in stock for the 2nd Gen Tacoma so if you get in early on this lead times shouldn't be much more than a week, but in general expect 2-3 weeks depending on sales volume.

15% off all orders under $600 before discount. Use coupon code TWGB15
20% off all orders over $600 before discount. Use coupon code TWGB20

Please note shipping cost will be calculated through the website AFTER you enter your shipping information but BEFORE you pay so please check there before calling/pm'ing for quotes.

Thanks everyone and feel free to call with questions!

Glad I saw this, I got lucky in Moad with a front skid :taco: but I could always use more...

Good quality product and definitely a huge upgrade from stock!

    Didn't see a website so I thought I'd chime in http://www.rcimetalworks.com/2005-Tacoma_c14.htm

Good luck guys! I might get some more myself. ;-)

Hey thanks for catching that, I was looking your order over wondering what the heck was the issue and just found the problem... The sale is only active for Tacoma products and for some reason the diff skid was not on the list. Got it fixed now, the correct price for you should be 984 + shipping. Give me a call if for any reason it doesn't ring up at that price.

Oooo. I need skids one of these days. Never heard of RCI though. May have to do some research.

How long are you opening the Group Buy for?

@Joshp767 - Can you explain to me what the Exhaust Re-Route is for the V6? Is the skid made different? Or do I have to actually alter my exhaust?

I'm entirely stock other than I put a much smaller muffler on.

What have you done to your truck lately
Exhaust re route is if you have an URD Y pipe. If you have the stock Y pipe it hangs lower then the cross member so there would be a bulge on the plate to accomandate the Y pipe.

Actually, the skid for stock exhaust is spaced down to accommodate the stock crossover pipe.

There is a spacer added between the front of the skid and the crossmember, and the new crossmember for the rear of the skid is built a bit deeper (spacing is ~1" or so)

If you have your exhaust re-routed to eliminate the low hanging crossover pipe (custom or URD or whatever) you can install the tighter version and gain that clearance back.

This picture shows pretty clearly the stock configuration from the rear of the tcase skid with the new crossmember and you can see the exhaust crossover in front of it.

Hey guys, just an FYI but I set the coupon code to be active until next Monday (the 24th) so still have a few days left to get a killer deal on some parts!

@Joshp767 - Question for you! The Group Buy discount is majorly tempting. Wondering on your front skid why it's so narrow compared to like the traditional TRD skid plate. What pros and cons do you see?

It's a good chunk of change to invest into skid plates and I'm one of those "Do it Once, Do it Right, or don't do it at all" kind of guys.
