I can appreciate your optimism. Also, I read the post on your intentions with customizing your soon to be truck, and though its not my style I'm sure it is going to be awesome......

 

Since this plan was just scratched out in the dirt yesterday. We have a lot of work to do yet.

B.A.M.C.I.S comes to mind.....

B- Begin the plan (Completed yesterday)
A- Arrange Reconnaissance (Find members willing to contact local dealer and ask appropriate questions)
M- Make Reconnaissance (Make dealer contact)
C- Complete the plan (Compare dealer findings and determine most profitable target)
I- Issue orders ( To preferred dealer)
S- Supervise ( Post up in recliner with an adult beverage and wait for magic to happen)

Perfect, that's the idea. If we can get everyone on board with contacting their local dealers to see if they would do a group buy, we could collectively scour the entire country for the best deal.

The Costco dealer in Mobile,Al seems to be competitive
The other dealers in the area Are brain dead and stuck in the past

Maybe contact Costco corporate car buyer program and. bounce the idea off them

 

That's the beauty of being the customer, we can always call the other guy.... I will be bouncing the idea off of my local Internet sales manager today.

As for coastal NC IVO Camp Swampy, the dealers don't have a clue when it comes to the 2016...or they are just holding the info close right now.

 

Ahhhhh yes..... You must be a fellow Barrel Chested Freedom Fighter. I am very familiar with Stevenson Toyota in J-ActionVille. I'm surprised they were clueless on the topic. I know they usually have decent allocation. Hmmmm interesting.

 

Another useless thread. How would there be group buys for a truck that's not for sale yet?

In the mean time though you could contact your local dealer and let us know what they say. Since you can absolutely place one on order at this time. Thanks in advance
