Shoot, just mentioned this kit in your other thread haha.

I have the kit in boxes, never installed it- opened it up and the manifold and piping kit looks great. I also have their 2jz kit installed on my IS300.

On my IS300, its very very low miles on the kit so far, so I can't comment on long term reliability, but I'll say this, for the money (key point in my perspective- for the money), its impressive. I know the guy with the prototype kit (tuned his EMU setup) and he beat on it bad and it seemed to hold up well. I think he recently had to replace the turbo, but I don't know if it was out of necessity or as an upgrade (CX didn't route water to the original turbo even though it can be water cooled, I routed water to mine- so far so good).

Again- big disclaimer- FOR THE money, its a good starting point- IMO even if you swap to a better turbo, wastegate and BOV your still way better off $$ wise than others who had to custom these things. It says bolt-on but NOTHING in this game is 100% bolt-on. For the IS300 kit, there is some cutting, I made a custom oil return hard line as there was no way to safely route a braided line through the manifold (prototype kit guy learned this the hard way) and other minor things. On the truck kit it looks like some custom exhaust work is needed and I'd bet the routing of the charge piping, oil return and such will have some fun hurdles.

Oh, this is assuming that you already know its a hardware kit, it does not address fuel and tuning at all.

Yeah i figured they'd give it a junk turbo makes sense though. But for that price i got a garret from a 7.3 i could adapt up to it XD.

Just get the kit without the turbo. Don't waste your time on a chinese turbo.
