I got a truck full of dog slober from a trip last evening. My dog coated the rear cab folded seats pretty good with his tongue hanging out after a good workout. All good. We had a blast and I'm working on a bed kennel for him. But in the meantime I need to clean this up. What do ya'll recommend for this application and going forward. Thanks!

thanks, i'll give these a shot.

Do you know if its best to just wipe down the seats with damp cloth? Or do you recommend a soft seat/fabric cleaner.

I know it's kind of a silly common sense post, just thought maybe someone had a really dialed in process.

The light duty cleaner is exactly correct, it's "light". The mothers brand interior cleaner is hands down a better product if you are looking for something over the counter.

Unfortunately I am not a Meguiars fan of products. I have had much better luck with Mother's, especially the California Gold Line (waxes more important). But this is just my opinion with an over the counter detailing product.

The Aerospace 303 can be a little hard to find locally and price is high for small bottle, first time I paid like $12 for an 8 ounce bottle after reading about it. I bought 32 ounce on Amazon last month for 17.67, had neighbor get bottle so shipping was free, felt a lot better about price because I now use on tires also.

I agree- 303 can be hard to find. but it's awesome stuff. love it. honestly, if it were me, I'd just start with warm water on a rag and see how far I get, especially on the cloth. there's an aerosol product called "tuff stuff" that is super good on cloth and carpet if you have stains. I even use it for things like coffee and wine on my beige living room carpet. works like a charm. spray on, let sit for a couple minutes, then dab with a terry cloth towel. repeat if necessary. test on an inconspicuous spot first.

the reason i recommend water first- if you are able to get it out with just water, great, then you're not saturating the fabric with a product that will likely remain in the fabric to some degree. if stains are bad, you don't really have a choice. but tuff stuff will certainly remove dog slobber. and it's cheap. a little goes a long way. don't rub it in just dab it until stain lifts.
