My girlfriend and I are on the last leg of our week long trip to Powell on a houseboat to Havasupai Point at the Grand Canyon.

    Thought I'd post some pics.

Geared up and ready to go with the new CVT tent.

    Rainbow Bridge!

Got to wakeboard with some scenery.

We went and saw Horseshoe bend before making our way towards the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

Next stop was Havasupai Point at the Grand Canyon. It's about 40 miles off road. At first it is easy fire road, but recent monsoons have left the last 10 miles of the path in shambles. It was tough at times and I was babying the truck so we didn't get stranded.

We crossed the Grand Canyon railroad and I saw a photo op.

It has rained recently so I had some fun.

We were lucky to avoid rain while we were there.

Finally we made it and I got to try out the new CVT Mt. Cayley tent.

And our view from our tent window!

    Thanks for checking it out!

Fantastic. The houseboat trip on Lake Powell is something my dad and i have always wanted to do. Also, the Grand Canyon is amazing. I went backpacking from the South Rim down the Bright Angel Trail to the river, and then back up in a week. I really enjoyed my time there.

Buckskin is cold cause it gets no sunlight. Might be confused, Bright Angel hike is hot and gets hotter. Buckskin isnt part of the grand canyon
