Damn straight. Every time I've had any amount of techy stuff in my cars they've gone wrong. My 09 TSX with tech was a nightmare, my 12 GTI, my 14 Santa Fe. How did we ever get by before lane departure warning systems and blind spot monitoring systems? Adaptive cruise control, WTF?

No idea what avenues they have in Canada for cars that are lemons. But taking an 11K hit was better then driving a POS that I couldn't put my family in without worrying about wether or not we were going to break down at the side of the road with no cell coverage. Sure that scenario can happen with any car but when your car breaks down regularly it takes the pleasure out of ownership. I think money is an object with anyone, I just happen to be in a unique position.

Are you hoping to get both transmissions on the same truck for an 11 speed? Don't understand the desire to bolt the transmissions together.

Most people don't read those and know it's all marketing, toyota has their own comparison. NVH during a test drive will get these trucks sold. Look at the guy who posted up his brand new F150 after doing 5 months of research on the Tacoma, I can bet you he didn't bother to read that Ford left out the wheel blockers in the super cabs and regular cabs for 2015, that the 2015s are having warping problems with their dashboards and Ford has already come out and said neither of those issues will be fixed for 2015. That the trucks are spending massive amounts of time at the dealer for simple problems because there are no parts. That the 2015 will be stuck with the absolute worst infotainment system, next year gets the new one. Test drives sell, that guy is living proof.

Exactly. MOST people buy vehicles with the test drive as their main criteria.
