Man, he really gotta have his beige interior. Currently, my wife has a light tan interior in her 13 Legacy, because it was the only option for white, which she had to have. Stains and gets dingy so easily. I'd never consider it again. Ever. Good thing hers is just a lease.

 

I never purchased a vehicle to support Toyota, I hope you didn't misunderstand

I supported them with positive compliments for durability and function through word of mouth with friends , family, co-workers and aquaintances ( my frames never rusted out)

My point was that you stopped being a customer for them over 10 years ago. They gained customers like me in the last 5 years. Who should they cater too....

 

Tan stains like a muthafucka. I won't own another truck with a tan interior. To those that do, you are using your truck wrong.

Give me a break . I was just bugging you that Toyota doesn't care about a customer that hasn't bought a vehicle from them in 15 years. Don't take it so personally. You still haven't bought anything from them in 15 years. I'm sure your neighbours, friends, and family aren't going, "jeez I want a Toyota because Tideline has a nice 15 year old truck that is nothing like a 2015 model."

Tell me, does telling your family you don't buy Toyota anymore because they don't have Tan interiors even make sense? Especially Tan which is a colour my generation, which is the generation the Tacoma is aimed at, hates? I'd look at you like your nuts.

Get high quality temperature control tint on your windows and/or put in aftermarket leather/cloth. It seriously does not cost that much.

The Tacoma has not come with beige interior for quite a while, this should not be that big of a shocker.

 

Yeah, I was trying to remember if the last tan cloth interior was a Gen 1 or not. Seems like an awfully long time ago. Maybe they'll make him a one-off, tan cloth 5 lug for his loyal patronage.
