My brother had a 69, believe it was, F-100 like the red truck. And then years later I got a 66 F-250 Almost same colors as the blue one. Great trucks!

My family were Ford people (I was the first to stray and started buying Toyotas) We had a bunch, a 60's F600 cabover water truck, early 70's F600 conventional cab dump, '72 F250, 2 '76 F250 Pickups. 1 '78 F350 Dump....and a couple E250/350s....also an E350 Box van...can't remember the year on that one.

So even though I have been driving Toyotas for a quarter of a century, I still have a soft spot for old Fords. Learned to drive in the F250's.

Basically yes and with the increased weight(+335lbs in SR 2WD trim), more frontal area and the same engine, I don't feel this will be a speed racer or mpg champ.

Do the 4x2s still have A-LSD? I can only find mention of A-LSD in direct relation to the 4x4 models. Has anyone found any official information stating that A-LSD will be on all 2016 Tacomas?

Yes, Automatic Limited Slip Differential is listed as standard on 2016 2WD SR Access cab.

I like my Sport, love the hood scope. But I have had 69 and 70 Mach 1 mustangs since high school so I feel lost without a hood scoop.
