Just purchased as is an 09 Base 4X4 Taco 2.7, 51k miles. Drove it home 2hours and the ABS and Traction control light stays on. Looks like a common issue. I have lots to read. Looks like I'll start with the wheel sensors, looked for frayed wire at the LCA, fuses, and/or possibly take it somewhere to get the codes checked..
Also my A/C stays on when the rotary switch for the fan is on. The only way to turn the A/C off is with the rotary fan switch. The truck won’t blow air without the A/C on. The recirculate buttons operates normally. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

If the temp know is turned to the coldest setting, it automatically turns on the AC. As mentioned above, turn it up just a little then you can turn the AC off. This 'feature' really annoys me.

Edit: Contrats on the new truck, and welcome to TW.

Crap. Thanks. That was easy. Now I'm off to get my codes read at a tire shop for the ABS and track control lights.

Also the AC compressor will run anytime the defrost settings are selected.
