Mine will be here in 2 weeks or less. I like the color coded bumpers, door handles, mirrors..(and hood scoop) Sport and the ride of the 4x2. Daily driver, light hauler, gun toting to the range. I believe the 15 has a locking tailgate. I have had an SR5 and currently have an 08 single cab just for utility stuff. Usually on my motorcycles every day. The new ride will save some on the scooter maintenance.

The fact that after all those aerodynamic and transmission improvements, the 4cyl actually ended up with worse MPG than the 2015 with the identical engine makes me think the EPA's testing standards have tightened up since last year.

Whats the price diffs between the Sport and the SR5? It looks like the Sport comes with that terrible mesh grille.

For a DCLB - SR5(V-6) 29,000/Sport 31,185. DCSB SR5(V-6) 28,500/Sport 30,685. So 2185 diff between the two. Add 900 destination charge on all for base MSRP.

Ok thanks. $2200 seems like a big bump. Only thing I like is one touch windows. Tell me the SR5 has that, or do you have to hold your finger on the button? Kind of lame to make that a Sport feature. Even the basic cars these days have one touch.

The sport has the SR5 package. The SR5 package is all the power options, interior upgrades. Sport has color keyed bumpers, mirrors, hood scoop, sport tuned suspension, wheels/tires. Hell its a 2G bump from 2WD to 4WD.

I like the grill. It's nice and chrome-y. I wish everything had the kind of chrome once relegated to a 1953 Chevy.

    You sure about this?

    http://blog.caranddriver.com/truck-you-money-2016-toyota-tacoma-priced-starts-under-25-grand/

TRD Sport: These trucks ($30,565 for 4×2 Access Cab) upgrade the 16-inch steelies to 17-inch aluminum wheels, install a 400-watt AC outlet in the bed, and include LED daytime running lamps, wireless inductive charging for cell phones, leather shift knob, one-touch up/down for the driver’s window, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and keyless entry with push-button start. The Entune infotainment system enjoys a bigger seven-inch touchscreen with on-board navigation, HD radio, live traffic overlays, and a limited collection of in-truck apps such as OpenTable and Yelp. Opting for the Double Cab costs $1100, while the six-speed-manual Access Cab ($32,220) is the cheapest route for four-wheel drive.

No...I can always be wrong. To get down to the nuts and bolts. yes the above is also included in the Sport but I do not see where the 1 touch up/down drivers window is inclusive to the Sport. I used some generalities in my previous statement.

heck! I ended up with a 2015 TRD sport 4x4 DCSB.
They gave me a great deal and good price on my trade in. So, I pulled the trigger a few days ago.

Maybe I'll trade in later for a 2020 Tacoma :)

    Thanks everyone for your input.

Home Depot and grass bags to the dump truck and always came back to a Tacoma, Tried Sedans, SUVs (wifey has CRV) Wagons (VENZA UGH).Avalon,....Always came home to Tacoma.... OK I do have a 12 MX-5 to tool around in when I don't need a truck. But I will always have a Tacoma.Looking forward to the 16s

I tried the rest . Nothing quite handles everything like a truck.

My head trip has always been 2WD or 4WD. I decided 2WD is batter for towing and I would not use the 4WD enough to keep the system lubed and working. But I would not hesitate if the price was right.....Waiting on the 16s..

I like the Sport, It suits in a nice Street truck Had an OR and preferred the rear locker but the new ORs fenders look like ass to me.
