So the lease on my 2013 DCSB was almost up, and they gave me $3K to turn it in.

Instead of a truck, I wanted an SUV for hauling parts to and from the powder coat guru.

    Drum roll please...............

So, no more Tacoma, but you aren't getting rid of me. Sorry not sorry. This will always be pretty much the only forum I cruise with any regularity.

I'll be back in another Tacoma soon enough. Maybe a 1st gen, or a 3rd gen in a few years. The 2nd gen is probably done for me though. I've already had three of them.

So far the T4R is nice and plush. It drives like you're riding on a cloud of titties, and it has a sunroof!!!!!

    My pups like it too....

I will be considering a 4Runner when I replace mine in 3 years.

Be aware of one thing though: The 4Runner has jack shit for storage space.

The cargo area is kind of small, and all the nice little cubbies and compartments that you have in the Taco, are gone.

I like the Runner, but somebody at Toyota needs a serious slap in the dick for the lack of storage space.

Agreed. I still have my '97 4Runner. My son mostly drives it. I do like the dry and secure storage but don't want a topper on a truck. Tough decision but I'll see there I am in a few years.

Interesting analogies/descriptions you have there.... what pill did you take that gave you the trip that felt like riding a cloud of titties?

Don't worry, I'm not done with them. I still have two sets of their shitty lights that I can't sell because their warranty isn't transferable.

As for the 4Runner lighting, I ordered the H11 Xtreme HID Kit from XenonDepot for the stock projectors, Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs for the high beams, and Nokya Hyper Yellow H11's for the fogs.

The headlight housings come blacked out from the factory, BTW, which is NICE.

I'd love to have one if the towing was just a tad bit higher. Congrats, I really like that color.

    Thanks!!

No they are not stock. They are ProComp 01's with BF Goodrich 265/70-17 K02's. I ordered them from Discount Tire a couple days before the truck came in, and slapped them on within minutes of getting her home.

I love the 4Runner but that front bumper is a love/hate relationship with me.

Gorgeous SUV though. I'd love for my wife to have one.

I hate the front end on the new 4Runners, except for in that color. With the black mesh grill, it looks awesome.

First time I've actually bought a bike carrying mechanism instead of building my own.

It's kind of a pain in the nuts putting a bike up there, but maybe I'll get used to it.

That 4 runner is a beauty!! Enjoy! I plan on enjoying the taco life for a few years but I think I will eventually end up in a 4 runner. Unless I hit the lotto and just own both lol. Congrats! That color is awesome!

Sad day for us Eastcoasters, when the 2 prominent east coast Tacoma fabricators (KBVooDoo and Mobtown Offroad) abandon their Tacomas for other vehicles.
