Yeah but for me it wasn't really a problem. I tossed in some timbrens and a 1" spacer for it and what I found was that the timbren would catch the frame as the body started to roll which was great on the street and when offroad I had about 4" of up travel which kept my frame rails off the rocks in the back and gave me droop for days. Those at RT saw how much droop that shit had and my lower eyes were even with the axle.

Also the shocks never limited my travel it was always the leafs. I removed all the retaining bolts of the leafs and finally got all 12" of shock stroke but it took a lot of trial and error type testing and being fun of for lifting tire and only using 10-11" of shock stroke. Really I think the way to go for these trucks is the setup Ckeene has. He cycles 11" and did have any of the ass pains of doing a shock relocation. It's a fucking PITA to get that frame smooth back there just to be able to weld them on.

Personally I think this looks way better than a pipe hanging behind a tire...now that looks like shit.
It's gotta be the biggest pet peeves on my truck

Yea, but what setup does he have? I've seen so many damn builds. I'm 5 pages in on his and nothing on that rear with pics yet.

I definitely have all but 1" of droop since my Dakars limit it but it's the up travel. Like Dakota said the top shock mount should be about 2" higher if possible. Right now I have about 4" of up travel but need to adjust my bump stops

I don't see how you can move them up 2" without going into the bed which defeats the purpose of these kits.

Shock hoop is still the way to go than. I can mount that shock in its best possible place based off my pack which is custom.
Fuck it, just got to do it no matter the cost. The Icons I have in the rear just aren't cutting it. Buy once, cry once

So are you saying when you're just driving your truck you're riding on your bumpstops?

It's a healthy choice to eat bananas. Maybe she just had mouth surgery and can only suck vs chew?
