So far they have been pretty good, they gave the local enterprise renta car a heads up on this issue, enterprise starting bring in more pickups for us tacoma owners with swiss cheese frames.

My frame came in at the end of April... after 4 days they had it done.. but MULTIPLE safety issues. like loose suspension bolts, went back a second time and found that they stripped a bolt in the front spindle, They had to order one from RCD, finally got the truck back yesterday. They had it for a month and 7 months after they found the hole in my frame I got it back. I still am going to go over the ENTIRE truck because they lost ALL of my trust

Just got mine back from 6 months of being at the dealer , the charcoal canister brackets were rusted , and they broke my e brakes cables were they go in to the backing ( quoted 550$ to replace both sides ) and developing a exhaust leak .

in my opinion, if they had to remove the e brake cables then they need to replace them under warranty.

Guys 1st off they can't charge you for any parts unless you authorize it. Under the recall as long as the truck is oem, meaning you didn't jack it up and change it drastically they need to replace bolts and brackets that are so rusted they needed to be torched off. They will recommend things like brakes, gas filter, exhaust, shocks. But they can only charge you for parts not labor. I worked at dealerships and on my own now, but I have a few buddies that work for Toyota and Lexus still. Some dealer are cool if you give them the parts they will install them. It's just easier for them to put something new on then deal withhold rusted stuff. Good luck and don't let them take advantage of you. Some dealers are good some aren't.

    faulkner Toyota in harrisburg,

Just went to hook up my trailer last weekend and now i have no lights and they wont fix it because its not warrantied. Yet before i took it in they all worked. Now the plug doesn't work at all. I have already called toyota YET AGAIN to see if they can make the dealer fix thier mistake

    This is BS.
    Got my truck back Saturday.
Got it home and truck feels tighter than when I brought it in. I hade them replace bushings with energy suspension products.
Bad news though,4wd does not work, and after sitting for 2 days battery is dead.
    Can not be a coincidence.
So far I'm getting nowhere, but i just started a conversation with the dealer.
    Freedom Toyota,Harrisburg,pa.
