Could be rusty. It's a dealer so they should be able to put it on a lift for a good undercarriage/frame inspection by any potential buyers. But if it had serious rust issues it wouldn't pass MSI.

Walked out within a couple minutes. It was beat to shit! Obviously why it was so cheap.

Any reason you're not looking at a 4 door Tacoma?

Honestly, my wife will probably drive this more than me. She won't drive a truck. Plus, we haul the two big dogs all over the place and I really don't like having them in the bed of the truck. I have the soft top on it but it gets very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. And if we were ever in an accident, they wouldnt make it... I think in a few years, I will end up getting a 4dr 3rd Gen Taco, but for now we want to go with an SUV.

My dogs is the reason i bought my black 4runner. First thing i purchased for it was the Husky rear cargo liner, a must have for hauling dogs around. My wife took over the silver 4runner. My plan for the silver one was to build it as a twin to my silver taco with the same TRD decal, lift, wheels & tires. But now she wont let me modify it. The silver runner is a 02 and it only had 87k miles when i purchased it, now it has 92k. Price was right and with those low miles i had to buy it. You'll love the 4runner, it's great for hauling camping gear, dogs, road trips... and they are easy to modify and wrench on.

I'm sorry to hear that. I can't wait to get back south. But you have a good group on TW up here.

Guy up the street from my work has a all black one. It's nice! But pricey, i think he told me it was $36k. He bought it in S. Carolina.

Yeah. I really like them but I don't have that kind of coin and even if I did, I'm not the type to want a payment that high.

Alright everyone, bring on the Hatorade! I traded in the Taco for a new Escape. Mainly because my wife is going to be the one driving it the most and with a kid on the way, I didn't want her using her car. It is tiny and kind of a POS. I wanted something good on gas, roomy, safe and smaller. Took it home last night for a test drive, drove it back today and talked them down like crazy. Didn't go with EcoBoost because the 2.5L was just as quick, almost identical gas mileage and was $3k less. Plus down the road it'll be a lot cheaper to maintain and service. Plans are to let her have this, I am taking her car and then I will get a DCLB Taco in about a year. Going to try to find a 1st gen DCSB to play with.

Had to make the Dad decision on this one and it was not an easy one. But don't worry, I will still be your local Toyota Offroad Products Vendor!

Thanks lol. I am not too thrilled about trading in my truck for a vehicle for her but it is what it is. Happy wife, happy life.

I really wanted a T4R but everything I am finding used is either beat to shit, or waaaaay over priced and I don't have new T4R money.

Ironic that this conversation is happening. I'm also putting my truck up for sale. If rather sell it to a TW user. I'm looking to get 11k for it as it sits. Minus the amp, sub and ultragauge.

As much as I absolutely love my truck, its just not big enough. If the bed was a little longer and the rear seats were more roomy, I'd probably keep it another few years. I'm looking at the crew max tundra or a Chevy1500.
