i did roll my windows up by hand. my truck is the first power window vehicle ive had. but all the electronic crap should be sold as extra to keep the price down for those of us who want a TRUCK to be a TRUCK.... and I wouldn't take a hit on the jesus fish... I don't think the mods like that kind of discussion...

Domestics rebates factory rebates are typically $6-10k plus whatever dealer is willing to negotiate, Toyota factory rebates are $1-2k plus whatever dealer is willing to negotiate.

So it can be done. I put money down on a 2016 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 today at $750 over invoice. This is a little over $2k off of MSPR. Make the calls and find the right person at the right high volume dealship and don't accept MSRP. I did have to order to get what I wanted so it will be around 90 days out. Happy camper here.

Not yet. I had to order from a deal a few hours away so paperwork to come. Did everything over the phone.

Can't complain about that deal. So is invoice usually pretty close to the this ~7.5% below MSRP? It would be great if someone had an invoice sheet. Seems like invoice on a TRDOR AC 4X4 might be pretty close to $30500.

Nice work brother. You must have some serious negotiating skills. I hope this will squelch the OMG 40k for a SR 2wd crowd.

Seems like I'll be waiting a while to order my Tacoma. Both dealers in Tucson are unwilling to move from MSRP for now. I was dealing with both of the internet/fleet depts. Can't say I was thrilled with how either dealer treated me which is just as discouraging as having to wait another few months. Told them I had cash and would buy when the price was right and left. I've found one dealer in PHX going $1500 over invoice but that is practically MSRP. At least that guy seemed professional. I'll just hang out and keep my ears peeled for any dealer in the state willing to deal a little.

Just waiting around these dealerships and watching all the salesman hanging around waiting to pounce is such a sad sight.

Expand your search. Call some dealers farther way. Sometimes you can save enough money so a plane, train, or bus fare added to the price is still a lot less then the local asking price. Plus the story of how you bought your truck is priceless. And, you get to go on an adventure!

I bought my used 2006 MINI Cooper JCW in Miami! Bus to Boston then a one-way flight and a fun 30 hour, 1500 mile test drive home!

Not ruling that out. I've bought several vehicles out of state.
