Hey I'm really interested in this myself, but what are the temperatures like where you live? I'm afraid that in southern CA, with cabin temperatures reaching 120º+ parked on a hot day, that the adhesive just won't survive. Any thoughts?

Aaahhhhhh, very good catch. I stand corrected, and apologize profusely to Panavise. I recall seeing mention made of the hook tool but, obviously not specifically that it wasn't included.

I live in central VA and thru the summer we regularly have air temps in the mid to upper 90's with 90%+ humidity. That being said, I've never measured in-cabin temps but it definitely gets hot. Never had any issues with the adhesive yet. Once it sets its pretty well set from what I can tell. I'll snap an actual pic of it an update my post so you can see where I put it.

Decided to install the Panavise but realized that the location that is recommended for installation really isn't significantly different from where my ProClip held my phone. While the ProClip was really solid as a mount, any time I had to look at my phone it caused me to have to turn my head towards the passenger side and away from the road. The Panavise would do nothing more than raise the phone higher than the Proclip, but still require me to have to look right.
Location where the ProClip was installed, to the right of the storage bin.

I pulled the climate control off and then removed the four bolts for the head unit. This was a hell of a move on my part because I just don't start removing things from my vehicle. I'm the kind of guy who will screw something up trying to save a few bucks and end up having to pay several times more to fix what I've screwed up. This turned out to be a piece of cake. Got everything mounted but removed everything again to try and hide the wires rather than just cramming them into gaps. Unfortunately, it interfered with the head unit mounting solid so I'll have to remove yet again so I can tuck the cable even further so that it looks really clean.

Interestingly, I was able to use my ProClip phone holder and screw it to the Panavise mount. Was hoping that would be the case as it allows me to keep the phone charged.

I want to get the mobarmor mount for my 2nd gen for use with my iPhone SE in a lifeproof case. I know this is a dumb question but can anyone tell me exactly which product to order from them? The website confuses me.
