anyone on here work on a drilling rig or work in the oilfeild?

    I oversee all services on locations like this.(see below)
    The work here is dwindling fast. Not much for new hands. Housing is still high considering wages and hours have been cut.
    A lot of vendors work for me. I can tell you that they have all reduced staff. Cut pay,cut hours, cut perdiem, reduced or eliminated housing allowances. There still is work,just a lot of competition for it.

    There are only a handful of rigs left in the Bay of Campeche now.

    This is one of the last MexDrill rigs waiting on a platform to be built over a well they drilled.

    Currently 28/28. But I've done 21/21 and 14/14 for years. I prefer the 21/21, but bill's get whop sided every now and then.

    Yep, they treat me pretty damn good! 20 n 10 schedule gets a little long though, but it's definitely one of the better schedules for wireline.

    Not much going on in ND. Ended up dropping 3 crews to 1, and now they are a traveling crew, spending most their time in Wyoming.
