I'm curious as well. The 2nd gen V6 was in the low-mid 7s, which is more than adequate for merging into fast, heavy traffic, which is my primary concern for acceleration.

The 2016 should be faster, with the added horsepower and the closer-geared and allegedly more responsive transmission. I would hope for mid-high 6s, but there's additional weight to account for. I'd honestly be happy if it broke even.

I expect it will be liw 7s, maybe 7.1ish... and that would be fine, although id live mid/high 6s, but i dont see that happening.

As to the hemi comment, the dodge does do well, but id either go tundra, or the f150 with 3.5 ecoboost. Again i didnt choose the taco for high performance. i needed a truck, but i need decent mpg with all my commuting. So it was either the colorado, or the taco; obviously the taco won.

I didn't either, now I won't buy a Limited. I already was not a fan of the cheesy chrome mirrors anyway, so chrome rear bumper is a del breaker for me.

I cant remember who it was but i think one of the magazines tested it or got a rough estimate and its no faster to 60 than the old one.

I dont know about the limited specifically, but i think chrome rear bumpers are stardard on all models (trd, sr5, sr) if you dont get the premium and technology package (at least this is what i have been informed of, and confirmed on the spec sheet) . Perhaps the limited has chrome regardless. Also, i believe the 4cyl, access cab gets a black rear bumper.

The blue limited they have been parading around since January has a blue bumper. The brochure says chrome bumper but the technology package that adds the parking sensors includes a color keyed bumper. The limited comes with that package standard so it will have the color bumper upgrade.

I guess I could go either way. However, I'm a fan of 60's cars and such...I love my chrome bumpers.

According to the spec sheet the bumper needs to be color keyed for the blind spot monitor w/ cross traffic alert, that's why they're standard on limited, TRD sport and TRD OR w/ Tech& Premium package.

    SR- Color keyed rear bumper

    SR5- Chrome rear bumper

TRD Off Road- (base) Chrome rear bumper
(Premium & Tech) Color keyed rear bumper

    TRD Sport-Color Keyed rear bumper

    Limited-Color Keyed rear bumper

Even the off road Wil have color matched rear bumber with the packages that include blind spot monitoring. However the fender flares on the off road will always be black on the off road even with other color matched pieces.
