The thing looks like a piece of shit. The only thing I see about that truck looking off road are the tires, and all Chevy did was choose them from the manufacturer. And the metal tubing on the back? You can get a custom one made anywhere for less than whatever Chevy will charge you. The bike/kayak racks is a nice touch but who the hell doesn't just throw their bikes on the bed?

I'm not a Chevy hater. I love their silverado. But the Colorado is garbage. It's a minivan with car interior and a bed on the back.

I do have that reviewer. He doesn't know what off roading is. He calls the truck stable but his head is worse than a bobble head taped to the dash.

I hate this guy's reviews. And his stupid driving. Obviously you feel less bumps when driving 20+ mph. But what about a true curvy road where you can't drive fast? And the last minutes of his review, he tries to bust a b!tch and he does so on the trail and not on the brush. Biggest pussy ever.

I'm pretty sure a chevy lumina has better approach angles. This "offroad course" is literally a road.

I like the vertical slots on the bedsides for load management, nice feature.

They could have at least removed the front air dam.. but seriously, if you want to go 45mph down a dirt road then this is the truck for you.

If you remove that airdam (which you have to to be able to pull into a parking lot), then it gets worse gas mileage than a tacoma. The tacoma gets better gas mileage when comprably equipped. If you put rice burner ground effects on it tokyo drift style, you'd see a bump of 2mpg.

GM Fanboys will be like "Look at the dirt kicking, and the brrrrpppp, and the guy laughing to point of it being awkward." I bet the TFL guy got a nice bonus for pretending that hard.

He probably was laughing at the fact that so many idiots are going to buy that shit.

How do you change the spark plugs on a v6 traverse engine? Good luck.

He did say he wanted to try the Z71 on Colorado rock trails. It could be ok but the fact it has one inch less stock ground clearance and the midaxle rear shock mounts a Z71 isn't a platform offroaders want to start out with.

All it has to do is look ok and brrppppp and it should attract plenty of previous GM buyers. You know people who love lots of the cheapest plastic money can buy, reliability issues, and early 90's infotainment systems.

Anyone that would consider a GM twin is a retard. Its the exact same cheap plastic piece of shit it was before they killed it.

    Look at that airdam lol

Aside from the fact that looks like ground effects from 2fast2furious, just look at the construction of it on an HD video. You can see its the cheapest brittle plastic on earth, thinner than a newspaper page, not reinforced at all, and the exposed cut edges aren't even clean. They didn't even bother to sand (or other abrasive) the jagged cut line. I guarantee, this airdam is a fucking microcosm of the craftsmanship of this vehicle.

Of course, since you might want to pull into a parking lot without scraping, you can just pull it off. The downside is your mpg drops by 2-3 and what's left is the truck, which is the same brittle, cheap plastic, piece of shit that the air dam is.
