    Thanks man. I shoot a Canon 60D with the 18-135 IS lens and 10-18 STM Lens and 50mm 1.8 lens. Didn't really use the 50 though this trip.

    I want a 6D and some real glass lenses though. Just too much money for a smaller hobby in my life.

    Ben had said he really hoped would would make it to a certain viewpoint before sunset. Well, we did make it. We also found the smoke from fires burning in the area we were heading to.

    Smoke does interesting things to sunlight. During mid-day, it tends to wash the colors out ofeverything. But when the angle is low, like at sunset, it can make for some amazing photography.
