most shops wont touch adjustable balljoints for the same price as regular alignment. if they gota rotate it what what not they probably going charge by the hour additional.

what i did with mine on my tundra with the SPC/LR UCA i already knew these trucks are always not enough caster from factory so i did the plus 1 caster option i believe. ended up being perfect for my alignment specs. because with a little more caster already in place with the control arms you can adjust less or more with the cam bolts too.

I took mine to Island Brake and Alignment on Kam Hwy, across from Waimalu Shopping Center. Choice Tire on Sheridan did my initial alignment, but my tires (stock size 265/65/17) were rubbing at full lock. They really didn't have much experience working LR or any adjustable balljoint UCA. Didn't feel comfortable taking my truck back to them, so I took my truck to Island Brake instead, based on a friend's recommendation. They set the upper balljoint on my LR UCA to the "D" position, and then finished my alignment. Alignment all good now and no rubbing. See my alignment spec sheet below:

Wen i had my integra, i had full skunk2 coilovers an canber kits front and rear.

Wen i would raise or lower it according to the wheels/tires i was running i jus played with the tie rods screwing in or out taking a quick drive an redoing it til i tracked a straight line.

Gotcha. Well I would do like some others have said and just bring the SPC/LR instruction sheet and diagram with you to Goodyear. I guess the settings will differ truck by truck, but most people seem to have the balljoint at the "D" or "E" position, and then are still able to dial in good alignment numbers.

@deeez and @polekasta Thanks again for the heads up and photo of the markers! Once I spotted the first one, was able to see em all over. Had a blast today, taking my truck out to Kaena for the first time. Took em slow and luckily never scrape anything or get stuck.

@deeez I passed you, @tx novice , and another truck at the gate as you guys were leaving. Aloha to you all and thanks again for the Kaena tips!

After you passed me I was thinking, that must be Miyagi. lol
Going to Kaena is fun. I just dread cleaning the truck afterwards.

@deeez Maybe next time we'll be headed the same direction!
Yeah, definitely not looking forward to cleaning the rig tomorrow.

Yup, maybe someone will organize a meet-up at Kaena in the future. The only crappy thing is that there isn't as much trails to drive on in there anymore.

How often do they check for permits at Kaena? Like lets say I just decided to show up today to meet you guys and I didn't have a permit. What are the chances of me getting nabbed?

I haven't seen an official DLNR guy there yet. Call me paranoid, but I swear there was a guy on a bike today that was watching us and taking pictures. My wife pointed him out to me and @tx novice noticed the guy too.
