    lol yeah thats understandable.

    It was awesome, i went to drop off bodies that I had painted and decided to stay to run some practice laps on the layout. You can see from the picture it was a pretty relaxed atmosphere haha my friend decided to jump into my picture. if you look carefully you can see how long the line was just to get a run in. the drivers stand is at the far right and you can see the line wrap around to where I'm at lol.

    yea that's what i was reading from the associated website that it was a pretty kick back event. OCRC has only gotten bigger since ive been. Last time i went was when they still had the little mini track to the left side of the drivers stand and the actual track was smaller.

    Alright guys.. I've been hit with the RC bug. I havent owned an RC for years, and even then.. it wasn't the greatest, nor did I have the knowledge. I'm wanting to get back into it. Living in Arizona, it will used mostly for Desert (loose dirt/rock, soft sandy washes, etc) but will also see rocks and slow rough terrain.

    I have always wanted an SCX10 for the crawling and detail/accessories.. but have always loved the fast 4wd action of the slash. I haven't played with either, but have had more high speed RC's than anything. SO.. after doing some research.. I'm torn between the below for a few reasons, but am leaning towards a Yeti or Wraith. They seem like a solid mix of both worlds... at least the Yeti does.

    Slash 4x4

    which one do I go with? wheres the best place to purchase (online vs Local Hobby Store)? is it better to do a RTR or Kit?

    ok, I know this is probably the worst reason to buy something... buuut.. I really like the new On Board Audio on the Slash.. I have always wanted real car sounds from an RC. that might have sealed the deal for me.. that plus the ease of maintenance I have been seeing/hearing about. Pretty sure there are still accessories and fun scale stuff for the Slash as well, just not as much as the Axials.

    might wanna look more into the yeti and yeti xl. best of both crawling/go fast worlds. plus the yeti xl is freaken sweet lol. if you want the best parts availablity/aftermarket support/durability for the best price go with a slash 4x4 vxl.
