I put 2" or 2.5" spacers on the front to level my truck out. I know I know everyone hates spacers, but they were free so I figured why not. However they did not level the truck out. Now its just opposite of what it was. The front end now sits higher then the rear. I am trying to figure out what the best solution to fix this. Should I A) remove spacers and put in adj 5100's(should have done in the first place). B) air bag helper springs in the rear, but would I be able to raise it about 1" to level it, plus it will help when towing? C) my least favorite option of putting blocks in the rear? and D) other. Please let me know what you guys think it my best option and why. Also the truck does not see much off-road so really only changing for appearance. Picture below if it helps.

How's it goin...I just got 2" spacers for my Tacoma as well...I haven't installed them yet...I thought I'd put them on for the heck of it...did u put a differential drop on as well? How is the ride? And are you thinking you should have just put the 5100 on?

I would take them out. They were free, so nothing lost.

    Then proceed.

No I didn't do a diff drop, The ride is alittle rougher but nothing to concerning. My only complaint is that it didn't level it out. I know some like this look, but I have always preferred the level look.

I'd raise the rear end an inch or so....4wds need to look like a 4wd.....Not a low rider! 1" blocks don't do anything too evil. An add-a-leaf would get the job done.

Will the air bag helper springs not raise the rear a little and be useful when towing? Or am I still better off just adding a leaf?

    Both.

AAL is cheaper, but for towing I'd get airbags for $295.

If you want something cheap to match your spacer lift then an AAL is cheap and fine.

If you want something quality and not too expensive to to be there when you upgrade out of the spacer lift then airbags would be great.

    IMO.
