I just traded my 13 SBDC towards a 15 F150 Eco... i loved my Tacoma, but i use my truck as a truck and the bed was just too small on the Tacoma.

So far i have put 250 miles on the new truck and absolutely love it. Averaging 23.3 per trip computer. 4x4 supercab 3.5 Eco w/ 3.55. Stickered $49000 paid $38300.

That explains why there are so many "new" people that have joined after Toyota displayed new truck that received such a suckish reception.
They must have double up on amount of trolls in Toyota HQ because there are tons of new accounts suddenly showing up on Tacoma forum and none have Tacoma.

Seatbelt Bracket Mike must be running double shifts for his minions.... :typing:

The 2.8 litre was a GM motor. The 4.0 is a American motors engine. It got really good after they got rid of the renix fuel injection.

I had an XJ with the RENIX (pre obd 1) and got lucky. After doing better ground straps and a minor blow by hack it didnt give me any problems except rust on the unibody since it started life in the midwest. I still miss that rotting POS

I thought drum brakes were supposed to prevent dust, dirt and crud from damaging the brakes and reducing performance? At least that's what Toyota / Seat Belt Mike told us while glossing over the fact the 4 Runner and FJ Cruiser had discs for years. I guess they see those two vehicles as poser mall crawlers hence they have disc brakes. :bananadead:

Hell, if Toyota / Seat Belt Mike would just fess up on bullshit items like this I would half way respect them but how they pump out falsehoods like this is beyond me. I expect this from Ford / GM / Dodge.....guess Toyota is now apart of the bullshit crew.

Didn't know that owning an older Tacoma is a prerequisite to buying a new Tacoma without being suspected as a paid shill.

Neanderthal troll logic at play here

I don't "follow" BlueT nor have I given him likes. I'm not here to make virtual internet friends and get involved in bullshit cliques.

Nobody wants to address the elephant in the room
    1. Why does Toyota / Seat Belt Mike lie about why they still have drum brakes (that they get crudded up while at the same time they think it's okay to have discs front and rear on the 4 Runner and FJ Cruiser)
    2. Why did Toyota / Seat Belt Mike lie saying everything on the 3rd Gen is new (part numbers) except for a seat belt bracket.
I realize I'm not going to get an answer nor do I expect one. I've come to my own conclusion.

    Okay.....so don't buy one

But stop trolling the 3rd gen forums, otherwise it shows how pathetic you're as a human being.

Tell me 7GR, what makes it trolling? Because you have a disagreement with what I (or others) are saying?

So, as a Toyota owner and someone who was interested in a 3rd Gen then I'm not supposed to voice my concerns? Be one of those see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil guys.

Plus you are on a thread titled "Alternatives to 3rd Gen". Do you think the OP posted that because he is sold on the 3rd Gen? I'm guessing not.

You're trolling on this thread - give your head a shake. Pathetic indeed.

I am not the one who rat you out. @v1tal1 was the one who figured out Toyota is running PR campaign.
