I had to get that blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert - USAA lowers insurance rates for that stuff. My current (soon to be last) car has been rear-ended 6 times in 12 years - 5 while I was stopped at a light, and once in parking garage. I figure this truck will be easier to see, and hopefully easier to miss. If not, they better be insured.

Better bang for the buck, but all the nasty chrome and ugly hickory color leather is just a deal breaker. Maybe if everything was color coded, black leather was another color. Hell I'd even pay more than $380.

When ever someone hits you from behind, it's NOT that they didn't see you. Its that they were NOT LOOKING at all otherwise you would never see this: Can this guy say "he didn't see the bus?"

    Stang_zpsxel6qdvx_b0c2475319f6f57621ea98970a7a5b86fad57056.jpg

All the lights and metal in the world won't stop someone from hitting you when they are looking elsewhere to begin with.

    I think its more than $380. I think the price of the P & T package is $3035 (w/JBL) Not $3600

I don't mind the chrome bits.

see, I'm fine with upgrading my leather, and not getting the upgraded JBL. That subwoofer isn't worth $700, but I think we all know that. I'd order leather covers and have them installed via the dealer so that I can return it if there is ANY issues related to the install. I've dealt with aftermarket shit with dealers, and they are cocksuckers about those things.

What are the predator tube steps? I saw those on the ordering system and have no idea what they are.

I seriously considered these, but doesn't look like they would protect from shopping carts.

I know bolt on sliders can not use a bottle jack, but anyone know off hand if they actually help work as a slider? For example, let hard surfaces slide under the body, or are they just for looks. I don't want to weld anything on. That's permanent and this is no trail rig, however I will seek out some off road terrain and do many snow runs through open fields

Prices look pretty good. Seems like quality sliders.

These would not function as a slider, they bolt up to the body vice the frame rail and the sheet metal would fold as soon as a significant amount of force was applied. Several fab shops make bolt on sliders that bolt to the frame and are every bit as strong as weld on.

This more what I'm looking for. Still a step, if you need that sort of thing. But you don't loose ground clearance and they function as a under body protector. Win, win, win situation

I have USAA but Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are not going to keep other cars from running into you.

No, but they help prevent the next collision from being my fault, especially if it can be avoided.
