    Opinions are like assholes :D.

Yeah I don't mind the new Silverado but I'm really disappointed in the lack of innovation from GM. Ecoboosts can have issues, but if you look around most of them are from 2010 when they first hit the market. Even google will show that. The F150 rules the oil field here, along with the GM 2500HD, and there's a reason those trucks are top dogs. If it doesn't last under abuse, the patch doesn't use it.

TBH the Tundra is the last truck I would own unless I didn't have to pay for it or the fuel bill. $5K-$10K more price for terrible fuel economy and mediocre power. Our work fleet got rid of them because they quite simply cost too much to operate over anything else.

It should be something really long that explains why the thread started, that it turned into the complete opposite of what the title requested it not turn into, and that it now is a just a bunch of random BS

Funny stuff on here about the Ecoboost. Sounds like many poeple are jealous of it!!!!! I owned a 2012 FX4 Ecoboost. Very impressive engine for towing and a DD. My wife ownes a 2014 FX4 Ecoboost that she runs for work. It is loaded to the max payload everyday, runs in and out of horse fields down dirt roads extended idled etc. They are impressive engines. So diesel like when it comes to power delivery.

I have a 2000 F350 crew cab 7.3 4x4 stick truck for my towing duties now and I just ordered a 2016 double cab OR for my DD. I have always had a Toyota pickup around for their reliability, ease of maintenance and how awesome they are off road.

I am a long time Toyota fan, but I'll tell you, one of those ecoboosts in a Tacoma sure would be sweet, and even better with a manual trans!!!

I hear the new Tacoma has the same displacement as the Ecoboost. Therefore it must be the same?

That mistake has been pointed out and accepted. I'd blame it on the moon. Or Obama. But really, it's just age.

    Head unit. That's it.
My friend's friend has a cheby, and he said that you have to take a good D to the B-hole to drive em.

You know why, because YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT TWICE.

Here ends the lesson on NOT BUYING GM PRODUCTS.

Recap: if you buy GM, you are paying for it not once, but twice. Is this product TWICE the quality, efficiency, innovation as ANY other vehicle? Well, I'll let you be the judge. (Hint: count the recalls. That would be a good first place to start)

NO. IT ISNT. Its the same damn design with some effing headlight changes. Bland ass interior, and skyrocketing prices. Seriously, that interior looks like the one on my daughters Fisher Price truck. OOH look, they have ON Star.....
