My hood lifts a little on the edges with my hood vents at speed but nothing unbearable. They look cool though (Latches).

Anyone looking for some 16" 2.5 Icon ZETA 4 Tube Bypasses? Going to 3.0s on my truck. $1500 rebuilt with Fox JM92.

I have some pics on my phone, just need to get them on Photobucket

I've got that one thing, and that other one thing, oh yeah and that other other one thing.
When are you going to put up a build page? I can't always drool over your icon picture.

    Possibly interested.

haha realistically probably never, build threads take time and I'm pretty lazy. And I haven't really documented my build completely enough to go in a logical order. But maybe I'll get something going when we tear into the front this fall.

Let me know, They are off the truck and ready to rock whenever.

Look up aerocatch and they have an offroad version and a regular version i was reading some people were breaking the standard ones. Belive they are the same price too, the offroad ones just have stronger pins i think

I tossed the aluminum pins and ordered some steel ones. Also I recommend using loctite, lock washers, or nyloc nuts rather than the regular nuts they come with. I had my hood come loose with the vibrations.

The Aerocatch kit I got came with nyloc nuts and backing ring for the latch to bolt on to. But I do wish I got the steel pins. The Aerocatch Extreme is the kit with steel pins.

The hardware for the latch itself on mine is also nyloc nuts with the backing ring. The one I had come loose was the pin itself.

coastfab.com carries the steel pins. Can't order online but just give them a call. The part number is 117-1043.

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Just picked up the 2 to. Jack from harbor freight. I like the fact that it extends to 18.5" vs 14.5" on the 1.5. My question is since the 2 ton is much larger do most of you use the 1.5 with some type of extension? LSK is going to make me a skid so want to get it right the first time.
    Thanks

I normally use a 4x4 but I'm sure you could make some kind of extension

4x4 because it can be used for many different positions or operations. Multipurpose and disposable :D

That's not to expensive in the grand skeem of things, not sure if welding that to the jack is that much safer then the 4x4 solution.

Not a HF jack, but I have a medium duty jack that I have bolted a piece of 2x2 tubing to (standing up, about 5" tall) to use as an extension. Has worked great for years.

I welded a plate over the bottom portion of the tube, drilled a hole in it, and bolted it in place on the jack. As long as the bolt is tight there is no wobble.
