Awesome. I think the 886 might be a but too tall for my setup (and garage) especially since I don't plan on a winch, but let me know. The brakes really can be a bit much sometimes, but I've gotten used tot hem by this point.

Outside of the approximately 1" drop in wheel gap, it hasn't been that bad, and I haven't really noticed any changes in the way the truck drives.

I'm thinking realistically at this point I'll probably throw on a set of 5100's to get back what I lost in wheel gap and then slowly start saving up for the full OME setup with appropriate UCAs.

Nice job MM. Good to see an AC getting the love. I intend to go with the TRD Pro Bead's as well, but ST Maxx's for shoes. It helps to see your rig. And the height seems right.

    Nice work.

nice looking truck! dont suppose you have an idea on how much that ARB bumper weighs? I have heard anywhere between 70lbs-200lbs according to different people, just wondering if you had a best guess or something. thanks!

Unfortunately I didn't have any way to get it on a scale. IIRC the shipping weight was ~90 lbs. Two people were needed to mount it because of the bulk, but I honestly don't see how it could have been 200 lbs.

Awesome thanks! Yeah talked to 4wheelparts and they were going on that its 200 pounds for some reason. Probably with a winch it's closer to that

I could buy that figure. My stock suspension sagged about 1" with it.

Picked up a Leer 100R for the winter so I don't have to worry about shoveling snow out of the bed. Only paid $370 for it. It needs a bit of love in the rear window area, but it should work quite well for what I need.

It was a cheap Pyle one I grabbed from Amazon years ago. I changed up my CB so I don't even use it anymore. The PA function of the CB was far too quiet IMO.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I love the build man. Especially considering this is the background on my work computer...

Thank you! Obviously the original truck was my inspiration, and I was pretty happy when I saw Toyota built a similar truck (and used my wheels!) to do their tribute.

I'll miss you, my beloved. :(

New rig coming late July 2016, unfortunately not nearly as cool as this one.

A guy decided to cross the center line and smash into me head on. It turned my once square frame into a diamond. The only way to fix it would have been to re-frame it, put on new headlights, fender, ARB, suspension, etc, etc. It was a hard hit.
