I will say I really like the system. The sound is right where I was hoping in both volume and depth. The fitment of the system was pretty good, could have been slightly better.

Some items to note: The tailpipe hanger had to be twisted using a cheater pipe. It was 90 degrees off ( facing driver's side instead of rear). Maybe that hanger differs in some model years or cab / bed combos.

The hangers behind the muffler were in no way positioned properly out of the box. After laying the stock and dynomax system side by side I attempted to bend them into position as close as I could eyeball, but in the end I still had to dismount the rear section of the system twice for finer adjustments.

I certainly would recommend the system.

Video demo (long and boring, but if you want to know what it sounds like) here:

And here are some pictures comparing the two systems as well as illustrating the hangers needing adjustment. You can also see the system is delivered with the first segment sized to fit a long bed truck. A cut of 13" I believe was all it took to adjust the system for a Crew Cab Short Bed.

First three pics are before, while the last two are after.

On my first 30 mile commute with the system I was a little concerned with the 60 - 70mph sound. After about 100 miles, either I had gotten used to it or it became quieter. Hundreds of miles later, I've been consciously searching for a drone and it isn't there. I'll be sure to make a video inclusive of hwy speed, surface streets, and with the windows up and down. I could probably just make the video over the next few days with my iPhone.

I love the way it sounds especially once the engine is warmed up.

Thanks. I saw a vid on youtube but didn't say what kind of dynomax and it was just idle/rev/drive-off. I'm more concerned about drone. Sounded good though.

    A few things
I think the exhaust hangers on the 05-12 and 13-15 were slightly different. You may have received the exhaust for the wrong year. But it seems like you worked it out.

Well, I hope the video gives it justice. You never know how these things turn out compared to an "in-person" experience. Anything from the phone's mic to the viewer's speakers / headphones could alter the sound somewhat. I've only heard good comments on that MBRP system, so I bet it is nice too.

I've always been drawn to Dynomax. I've been using them since I was a teenager. And for the price of this system, I had to keep the faith I guess. I mean $225 was a bargain.

That is a good deal i wish i seen this video before i purchased the MBRP for $525. And its true in person is a totally different experience.

Today on my drive in to work I listened again (now comparing the video's audio to what the system sounds like in person). With my observation this morning I am confident the video could be used primarily an idea of the volume of the exhaust, but it doesn't give the depth of the tone a fair representation.

I thinking on purchasing this exhaust system Autozone has it for 20%off and a 10.00 Visa card total 206 shipped, question have you had any drone sound or any issues with the system.

I do not think the sound at highway speed is that of a drone. In fact, I don't even really notice it now. It may have gotten a little more quiet over time. I like the system and its sound. I hope the video helps you decide. It does a fairly good job at illustrating the noise in the cab.

From looking at the pics it look like you cut the pipe 13" for an access cab, after cutting the pipe was it an exact fit and what did you use a pipe cutter.
