    Good day all,
I'm trying to find a way to determine what package is my 2003, 4X4, 2,7l, auto, extra cab, 6 lug Tacoma. The previous owner went badge crazy and I'm trying to determine what is legit. Also, it would help a lot when ordering parts. Did the VIN number decoder check - good info but still not specific to what package I have.
Anyone know where I can find this information?
    Thanks in advance,
    mklaw

Thanks for the reply. It's got the TRD and SR5 badges. Thought for sure the VIN decoder check would give me the answer.

Yellow Bilstein shocks (if stock) indicate the Off Road. the 4cyl didn't get the locker so no info there. Could always call a dealership but I don't know what more they could offer :notsure:

Thanks Frizzman. I'll have to check for the Bilsteins. Have not had the truck long. Have a ton of parts to change just haven't gotten under the hood as of yet.

    Agreed
There are TRD OR manual trans 2.7L with lockers but they are super rare. I've only seen two, one was on TTORA, and I think the other was here.
No documented TRD 4cyl autos though.

This may or may not be helpful. When I was looking at mine I got the VIN and went to Toyota's website. At the link below you can enter the VIN, add your info then see the service history. I also talked to one of the counter people at the dealer and they looked some stuff up for me. Yours may be to old but it's free to try.

Mine is a 2.7 and has the elocker. I thought it was just the offroad package, since there were no emblems/stickers on the truck. Are you telling me I got a TRD without knowing it?

Its possible that the e-locker was also offered as an option on its own, not part of the TRD 'package'.

e-locker on 4cyl auto was definitely out, maybe they did offer on the manual but I'm guessing it's more rare?

e-locker was basically the only thing in the Off Road package, cept for bilsteins and little stuff, at least on the ones I looked at in dealerships
