Anyone else's seatbelt permanently locked up?

    Mine's been locked up for a little over a week now. Right now it's fully retracted and NOTHING will release it. Before it permanently locked up, it would randomly lock up, but I was always able to release it by shimmying it around a bit; sometimes for up to a few minutes. I don't even think about putting my seatbelt on anymore! D:

    Any help would be appreciated. My poor life depends on it!!

    If nothing works, I'll probably just end up picking one up at a salvage yard.

    Go to Toyota. They might have a tool that can unlock it.

    Sorry don't know how to fix it... but funny you say that.... my friend just got a seatbelt ticket yesterday.... and his still works

    lost somewhere in NW Mt.
    Vehicle:
    '05 DCSB Taco
    Ours would lock up in our '05 till I took a sharp knife and shaved the plastic cowling the seatbelt runs thru. the restriction from too small a slot/ friction was just enough that the seatbelt wouldn't extend or retract.
