As the title says, I'm looking for sliders for my 4x4 regular cab Tacoma that I don't have to weld directly to the frame. I don't mind drilling it, but welding on a new truck is kinda a road I don't want to go down yet. Something at a decent price too, I've seen the AVID off road bolt on, but they look like they're just for looks and not for protection.
    Any replies welcome, thanks!

Does anybody make any that use a bolt flange where you would normally weld instead of a big frame piece?

^^ the SOS slider?? they're 100% bolt-on. pretty much uses existing holes on the frame to bolt them on.

Those look sweet, and that's what I was looking for, I don't mind drilling one hole. Who makes them?

I'll take note of that, thanks! I saw the source file for the frame plate on the SOS bar, and I may get on Autocad and modify it for my regular cab, have my friend plasma it and buy a weld on style. Dunno yet

My idea with the bolt on is I want to be able to take them off quickly and easily as compared to cutting and grinding off all my welds (which is a PITA). I have a welder and I very well could build some simple sliders, but my time is pretty busy with rebuilding my J**p.

I think BAMF makes a no drill bolt on set.

BAMF is a good option but I don't think they have a 100% bolt on slider option for regular cabs. I think Jerry said something about the demand not being there.

I think I'll print out on large scale the frame plate from 1 bored clerk, and see if the holes match up for the most part. If it's small changes, I'll make the changes in Autocad, post on 1 bored's page and have my plasma cutter cut them out.
Then after seeing the prices and the quality of SOS stuff, definitely the route I want to go, I'll pick up some SOS weld on sliders and put those on the frame plates.
