I got home from work and it was like that. Couple spare bolts from my RTT and some elbow grease and its sitting pretty now

Nice man. This one is going to the wife when I buy a new one. Looking at an R6 possibly raven edition or R1.

 

Why not the R1 Raven?? I like the R1 more than the R6

 

Tempted to. Trying to buy used for 5-6k to save some of the money I would be spending if I got a new bike on parts to continue/finish the truck

Back home in Colorado, there is a bike dealer called Grand Prix Motorsports. They have a program that allows you to bring a bile you bought from them back within a 3 year timeframe. As long as it doesn't have any damage or anything crazy, you get the exact value you paid for the bike towards a new one. I should have brought my R6 back to them but didn't have time to get it all the way back there before I left for germany

 

I also have a two brothers carbon exhaust ready to go that will fit an 05-15 R6..so there is some incentive to get an R6.

Screw in the rear tire..took it to my new favorite tire shop; Firestone. Went in and opted for the cheaper tires. They didn't have them in an all season in stock so they offered me some Firehawk somethings all season tired for the cheaper tire price. Talk about a win.

Finally did the RTT mod for the garage..





Pulley system has been delayed (1) with the move and (2) because the garage is too small to fit the truck into. We are figuring out what the best option for us would be to get the Behemoth/Caitlyn to fit. Hopefully not a complete tear down but we will have to see.

 

Only way she'll fit in the garage. Even without the rack I doubt she'd fit now

 

Took a trip to VatoZone last night and ordered a cabin filter..holy sh!t they are expensive For those looking, here is the link/part number etc.

Well the most dreaded time of the year has passed..I had about a 90 minute window between rain storms to disassemble the PrInSu rack, wash, clay bar and wax the roof of Caitlyn. Luckily I use Nu Finish wax so once the wax hardens, I won't have to do it again til next year! Thank God it's over

Now to wash the rest of Caitlyn, Gunk the engine bay, salvage and seal the sliders and hit her undercarriage with some Rustoleum under coat and she will be ready for the winter.

Hopefully sliders get done Saturday!
