If ur towing with a Taco, what you want is gears. Without an SC you just can't get enough power without a V8. Yes you will go a bit slower up the hills but not a 4500 rpm. Also you will be able to beat a Geo metro 0-60. Otherwise, maybe a Tundra? Yeah, I know your are supposed to be able to tow like 4500 with a taco but that's on a flat with a tailwind. Reality is that about 2500 is max for comfort on hills and stuff.

Mine says 6500. I'd never try it, though.

That sucks. Why can everyone else make mods then? Or is that just for chargers?
That BLOWS. I would want some $$$ back...
Agreed on gears. Also, 6500 lbs with tow package. I wouldn't do that above 55 MPH though

If I get a boat that weighs around 3500 pounds with trailer and I going to be able to do 70 down the freeway in 5th gear no hills/wind or am I going to have to drop it down to 4th gear?

Common sense would tell me yes, as long as you drop it in 4th for any type of grade so that it doesn't hunt. However, even with momentum and flat road, your engine load is significantly higher in top gear. I know this because of the ultragauge. It is probably better to be in higher RPMs.

Maybe 6500 per the suspension ( doubtful) but this is my 3 rd Taco towing a 2700 lb tent trailer, and I sure wouldn't want to do any hill or grades with that much weight. Still, they are awesome trucks.

Starting with the URD TCAI and MAF CAL. Should be here in 5 days. If the dyno charts are correct it looks like 15+ hp.

    I guess exhaust is next.

Does the throttle body adaptor and larger throttle body help at all, or just use more gas?

One can never have too many light bars.
I think you can install a manifold spacer.

Unless you get into cams, nothing. All the rest will not give any dyno increase. Some will move around the torque, but no real HP increase.

Pancake inductor mod. With or without the scooter stick. Intercool it and you'll see gains in the tweens.

K&N filters are good for 45rwhp. You don't even need to install the filter. Just the sticker.

I don't even think it's the suspension. It's the drive train. I have no doubt though that it's no fun! I'd get a full size to tow that much.
What do you do with the cams?
Also, urd has a naturally aspirated power package that claims 50 hp.

That's actually pretty impressive, but at $3k+ it doesn't come cheap.

Isn't that almost what the TRD S/C guys are getting?

A 2015 F-150 with the 2.7L EcoBoost and the EcoBoost Payload Package, done. The OP's needs are asking a lot from any mid-size truck. Just my two cents...

68 actually. The package is supposed to be an alternative to an sc. But somehow I think the sc is funner even if these mods gave 68? Probably because of the tq curve. But I don't fully understand differences between open throttle gains and closed loop gains. Maybe someone could tell me.

All those in the kit make it drive like a Honda...... It's just too free flowing
